At Hotel Dieu Hospital, patients and visitors will find the following services and amenities:

Banking

A branch of the Unity Savings Credit Union operates in the main lobby Monday to Friday, counter serivce 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. By appointment: 1:30 to 4 pm. In addition, an ATM, accessible 24 hours a day, is located in the lobby next to the public telephones.

Brockview Cafe

The Brockview Café is located in the main lobby and is open 7:15 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. It offers a selection of beverages, hot & cold food and many take-out items. All proceeds from the Café support our hospital.

Chapel and Multi-Faith Centre

The chapel is located on Sydenham 2 (at the Sydenham Street entrance) and is open to people of all faiths. It is open 6 am to 5:45 pm, Monday to Friday. Mass is celebrated at 11:30 am on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Morning prayer takes place at 8:30 am, Monday to Friday.

The Multi-Faith Centre is located on Sydenham 3 (at the Sydenham elevator) and is open 6 am to 5:45 pm, Monday to Friday. The Centre is a sacred space for quiet prayer, reflection and meditation; religious books are available for the major faith traditions.

Gift Shop

Located in the main lobby, our Gift Shop is open 9 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday. Along with a wide assortment of gift items, it offers snacks, gift cards and more. All proceeds from the Gift Shop support our hospital.

Hand Hygiene

Clean hands are one of the best ways to stop the spread of germs that can cause infection and illness. Please do your part by using the hand sanitizer dispensers conveniently located throughout the hospital.

Information Desks

Information Desks are located in the main lobby and in the Urgent Care Centre. They are staffed by our Volunteers (in blue vests), who can provide you with directions and information to assist you during your hospital visit.

Pastoral Care Counsellors

You are welcome to contact our multi-faith team of pastoral care workers, who can work with your health care team to provide counselling, grief and loss support, spiritual direction and spiritual conferences. The Pastoral Care, located on Sydenham 2 (Rm 241), is open 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Telephone 613-544-3400, ext. 2231.

Patient Relations Office

Public telephones are available near the Gift Shop in the main lobby. Phones are also located in the Urgent Care Centre.
