Directions

Hotel Dieu Hospital is located at 166 Brock Street, Kingston, Ontario. The hospital encompasses one city block within Brock, Sydenham, Johnson and Bagot Streets, with the main entrance located on Brock Street directly across from the Chown Memorial Parking Garage. For more details, click HERE.

Feeling Well

Infection control is everyone’s responsibility. Please do not visit the hospital if you are not feeling well or have recently been exposed to an infectious disease. Please use the hand sanitizers available throughout the hospital upon entering and when leaving.

Drop-off/Pick-up

Drivers can use the Brock Street entrance/exit ramp to drop off and pick up patients at our main entrance. Parking is not permitted on the ramp, which is monitored by a Security officer.

Parking

Chown Memorial Parking Garage offers the closest parking for patients, families and visitors. It is located directly across from the main entrance of Hotel Dieu Hospital on Brock Street. You can also access metered and pay & display parking on streets around the hospital.

Interpreters

Hotel Dieu Hospital has access to professional interpreters and translators. Please speak with your health care team to request this service.

Scent-free

We care for and work with many individuals who can experience allergic reactions to scented products such as perfume, cologne, hairspray and personal care items including scented deodorant, aftershave and lotions. We ask that you refrain from using these products during your visit to our hospital.

Latex-free

Latex can cause a severe allergic reaction. To reduce the risk of exposure to natural rubber latex, we do not permit latex balloons in the hospital. Mylar balloons are acceptable.

Smoking

Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere on hospital property for the health and safety of our patients, visitors, staff and volunteers. If you need to smoke, please move well away from doors/entrances; by law, you cannot smoke within 9 metres of entrances/exits.

Cell phones

You are welcome to use your cell phone in our lobby, café, offices and other places that do not involve direct patient care. We request that you turn off your cell phone in patient care areas since it could interfere with medical equipment. When using your cell phone, be considerate of other patients and their families.

Pediatric Virtual Tour

Prior to visiting Hotel Dieu Hospital, pediatric patients and families can take a virtual tour that shows the different areas of pediatric care, provides helpful information and helps you prepare for your hospital visit.
