Hotel Dieu Hospital is the ambulatory care teaching and research hospital for Kingston and Southeastern Ontario, affiliated with Queen’s University.

As an ambulatory (or outpatient) care facility we provide medical care or treatment that does not require an overnight stay and that includes services such as specialized clinic visits, day surgeries and diagnostic procedures using advanced technology, equipment or procedures. For most of our patients, the length of stay—from time of registration to discharge—occurs on the same day.

We provide expert care to more than 500,000 people in the region through specialized programs including pediatrics, medicine, cardiology, surgery, mental health, oncology and urgent care. We deliver quality, safe health care, while advancing innovative research and educating the health care professionals of the future.

• Allergy Clinic Brock 1: Enter main entrance on Brock Street. Walk towards main elevators and then continue down hallway (do not get on the elevator). Turn at the first door on your right to reach Registration Desk.

• Arrhythmia Clinic (Cardiology/Heart) Brock 1: Enter main entrance on Brock Street. Walk towards main elevators and then continue down hallway (do not get on the elevator). Turn at the first door on your right to reach Registration Desk.

• Audiology/Speech Pathology Clinic, 144 Brock Street, Murray Building: The Murray Building is located on the southwest corner of the Bagot and Brock Streets intersection (across from the CIBC Bank). Wheelchair accessible entrance.

• Biometry Clinic (Ophthamology) Johnson 6:Enter main entrance on Brock Street and take main elevators from lobby to Level 6. Turn right off elevator and then immediately right again. Proceed down hallway towards Registration Desk at far windows.

• Blood Work Brock 1:Enter main entrance on Brock Street. Walk towards main elevators and then continue down hallway to your right (do not get on the elevator). Watch for “Brock One Clinic” sign hanging from ceiling. Turn at the first entrance on your right half way down that hallway to reach Registration Desk.

  Nurse/Admin Offices Johnson 2: Enter main entrance on Brock Street and take main elevators from lobby to Level 2. Turn right off elevator and then immediately right again. Proceed down hallway towards windows turn right, reception first door on left.

• Breath Tests Johnson 4: Enter main entrance on Brock Street and take main elevators from lobby to Level 4. Turn right off elevator and then immediately right again. Proceed down hallway towards Registration Desk at far windows.

  Enter main entrance on Brock Street. Walk towards main elevators and then continue down hallway to your right (do not get on the elevator). Watch for “Brock One Clinic” sign hanging from ceiling. Turn at the first entrance on your right half way down that hallway to reach Registration Desk.

  Dr. Baird Cardiology Clinic Brock 2
  Enter main entrance on Brock Street and take main elevators from lobby to Level 2. Go left off elevator and proceed straight down hallway. Then left and you will see reception on your right.

  Cardiac Rehabilitation Centre (CRC)
  Enter main entrance on Brock Street.Walk towards main elevators and then continue down hallway to your right (do not get on the elevator). Towards the “Brock One Clinic” sign hanging from ceiling. Just past this sign you will see an small hallway on your left, take this hallway. Walk through the waiting area towards red door, turn left and walk towards a red double door which opens to what looked like a loading dock.   Cardiology Diagnostic Testing Brock 2
  Enter main entrance on Brock Street and take main elevators from lobby to Level 2. Go left off elevator and proceed straight down hallway. Then left and you will see reception on your right.

  Holter Monitors Jeanne Mance 3
  Enter main entrance on Brock Street and take main elevators from lobby to Level 3. Turn right off elevator and then proceed down hallway, about midway down on your right there will be an 'open space with chairs'. Have a seat someone will assist you.

  Home Cardiographics Jeanne Mance 3
  Enter main entrance on Brock Street and take main elevators from lobby to Level 4. Turn right off elevator and then immediately right again. Through the door on your left and follow hallway about mid way down. Watch for sign on wall.

• Child Development Centre (CDC)
  Enter main entrance on Brock St., turn left once in the building past the coffee shop. Continue down the hallway, past the “Child Outpatient” sign. When you reach the “Child Development” sign turn right and enter our reception area.

• Children's Outpatient Centre (COPC)
  COPC serves patients from birth to 18 years of age. The COPC provides a unique walk-in emergency clinic for pediatric patients as well as many specialty clinics such as cystic fibrosis, cardiology, endocrinology, diabetes, orthopedic, bowel management and more. The COPC is open Monday to Friday 9 am to 4 pm and is located on Jeanne Mance 1. Enter the hospital through the main doors off Brock Street and go to your left past the Cafe, first door on your left. 613-544-3310, ext. 3150.

• Chronic Pain Clinic Jeanne Mance 3
  To register: Enter through main entrance (off Brock Street) turn right past the Information Desk. Continue down hallway to Brock 1 Clinic, first door on your right. Once you have registered, return to main elevators and go up to level 3. Level 3: Turn right off the elevator follow hallway and signage to Chronic Pain Clinic. Chronic Pain Clinic WAITING AREA will be on right side of hallway.

• Clinical Immunology (CIOC) Jeanne Mance 3
  Enter main entrance on Brock Street and take main elevators from lobby to Level 3. Turn right off elevator and then proceed down hallway to clinic about midway down on your left.

• Detoxification Centre
  240 Brock Street, Kingston, Ontario 613-549-6461
  The Detox Centre is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As part of Hotel Dieu Hospital, we offer short-term, non-medical treatment service for men and women who want to detoxify from alcohol and/or other drugs, who are waiting for intake into a treatment program, or who are in danger of a relapse. We offer supportive counseling and referrals to community services, self-help groups and ongoing treatment programs. Walk-ins or telephone crisis response is also provided. There is no waiting period, no fees, and your stay is voluntary.

• Diabetes Education & Management Centre (DEMC)
  Diabetes Education & Management Centre is made up of an adult program and a paediatric program. DEMC accept referrals from health care professionals or the person living with diabetes. Enter through the main entrance on Brock Street, walk towards main elevators and then continue down hallway to your right (do not get on the elevator). Continue down that hallway to the end turn left follow this hallway until you see a small elevator (Centenary Elevator) on your left (Pharmacy will be on your right), take that elevator up to level 2 and DEMC registration desk will be off the elevator on your left.

• Diagnostic Imaging (X-ray, Imaging, Radiology)
  Enter the hospital through the main doors off Brock Street take main elevators down to level 0. Registration is straight ahead.

• Eating Disorder Clinic (Adult)
  Enter through main entrance on Brock Street and take main elevators from lobby to level 3. Off the elevator head straight down hall on your left, keep following this hallway take your first left and follow that hallway. For a printable map click here.

• Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT)
  ENT is located in the Murray Building with a dedicated entrance located east of the hospitals main entrance at 144 Brock Street.

• Emergency -Urgent Care Centre
  Urgent Care Centre serves all patients whose illness or injury is not life-threatening but serious enough to require prompt medical attention. The UCC is open 8am to 10pm, 365 days a year. Urgent Care Centre has a dedicated entrance located east (walking towards traffic flow) of the hospitals main entrance on Brock Street. Their is a driveway to drop patients at door.

• Eye Clinic-Ophthalmology
  There are three clinic locations within the hospital. Mary Alice Clinic: Level 1 which is through the main entrance on Brock Street proceed straight ahead towards the Gift Shop, turn to your right and proceed up the ramp to the registration desk. Research on Johnson 2: which is through the main entrance on Brock Street take the main elevators up to level 2 off the elevators turn right and right again, follow hallway take your first right and Research area is midway down hallway. Johnson 6 Clinic: which is through the main entrance on Brock Street take main elevators up the level 6 off the elevator turn right and right again proceed down hallway to registration desk.

Just past this sign you will see an small hallway on your left, take this hallway. Walk through the waiting area towards red door, turn left and walk towards a red double door which opens to what looked like a loading dock. Go to your right through the door and down hallway through door on left and HR is to your left.

• Jeanne Mance Foundation
  The Jeanne Mance Foundation directs funds to areas of need within the hospital in keeping with the Mission and Philosophy of the Religious Hospitallers of Saint Joseph of the Hotel Dieu Hospital of Kingston. The Jeanne Mance Foundation is represented by The University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF), who conducts of all fundraising activities on their behalf.

  Providing current and comprehensive training of ophthalmic medical personnel. Enter main entrance on Brock Street take main elevators up the level 6 off the elevator turn right and right again proceed down hallway to registration desk. Ask to speak to KOTC representative.

• Orthopaedics
  Entre through the main entrance on Brock Street take main elevators up the level 7 off the elevator turn right and right again proceed down hallway to registration desk.

• Otolaryngology

• Paediatric Diabetes Program
  Located within COPC. Enter the hospital through the main doors off Brock Street and go to your left past the Cafe, first door on your left. 613-544-3310, ext. 3150. Helping children with diabetes and their families learn how to cope with and manage their diabetes.   To register: Enter through main entrance (off Brock Street) turn right past the Information Desk. Continue down hallway to Brock 1 Clinic, first door on your right. Once you have registered, return to main elevators and go up to level 3. Level 3: Turn right off the elevator follow hallway and signage to Chronic Pain Clinic. • Patient Records Department
  Patient Records is located on Jeanne Mance 00. To access level 00 you must use the service elevator or stairs. Enter the main entrance on Brock Street proceed straight ahead towards the Gift Shop, turn to your right you will see a red door on your left to the stairwell or continue to elevator and take down to level 00.

• Patient Relations Office

• Regional Paramedic Program for Eastern Ontario (Base Hospital)
  We provide medical direction, education and advice to paramedics and paramedic services in nine upper-tier municipalities across Eastern Ontario. Our Kingston office is located west from Hotel Dieu Hospital at 238 Brock Street.

• Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Program
  If you are a victim of sexual assault or domestic violence, go to your nearest Emergency Department/Urgent Care Centre and ask to see the SA/DV nurse on call.

• University Hospitals Kingston Foundation
  Located at 366 King Street East, Suite 201, Kingston.

  HDH Volunteers are an integral part of our community. Everyone works diligently every day to make Hotel Dieu Hospital a friendly and warm institution. Volunteers make a significant contribution to the hospital, both in terms of time and talents given and monetary donations. The funds raised by volunteers are used to purchase much-needed equipment and comforts for patients and visitors.
